WHITE SUPREMACY IN THE GLOBAL CONTEXT w/ Resmaa Menakem and Dr. Robin DiAngelo *A Two Part Fundraiser Series Featuring World Renowned Authors & Racial Justice Thought Leaders*
Join Us For This Dynamic Conversation Through A Global Lens
The confluence of several recent events - ranging from the Covid -19 pandemic to police violence in the U.S. - have ignited worldwide uprisings on race. What does white supremacy look like in a global context? What are the similarities and differences across cultures? What lessons can we draw from efforts and historical contexts in the U.S., Europe, and South Africa.

This funding will go towards creating an embodied anti-racist/oppression curriculum and free online e-course for community members parents and teachers of culture first, who provide K-12 guidance. We believe that this will have a foundational impact on Black, Brown, and Indigenous Children and their lives. Together, Resmaa Menakem and Education For Racial Equity, along with other subject matter experts will also create an educational certification program that will develop the best somatic abolitionists educators, healers, and movement leaders of our time. They will lead with the understanding of Black, Brown, and Indigenous children, white body supremacy, racial weathering, geopathic stress, toxic stress, and they will preserve the resilience and power of the communities which these children come from. This will be made available to community members, parents and teachers of culture first and then to others across the United States. Help us create a culture change centered in healing and dignity.

A MESSAGE FROM RESMAA:
"This communal consultation is not focused on therapy, we will be learning skills we can employ in community with each other. It is about reclaiming pieces that were stripped from us through the horrific and brutal process of White Supremacy. We are reclaiming these somatic abolitionist processes without regard to any other philosophy. We are not beholden to social work, to religion, or to any other institutions. We are going to reclaim this and excavate these pieces for our own liberation; from the moored place of somatic abolitionism. "
